Titre: The Bioperversity Project
Date: 2010
Place: Saõ Paolo, Brazil
The Bioperversity Project ("Bioperversidade" in Portuguese) is a group of work by MALYSSE in which the sculptor-photographer performs bio unpleasant gestures on live plants. At the same time a herbarium and a minimalist sculpture, flirting with Arte Povera or Ecotrash Art, this work provokes an ecological surge in the eye of the viewer and shows that plants suffer. Through videos and other medias, mixing sculpture, photography, painting, it turns the concept of a garden into a bioperversity studio-laboratory.
